Skogsgården in Bassholma

Discover a hidden gem in Ängelholm with a stay at Skogsgården, a traditional 1700s Skåne farmhouse converted into a spa with an 8-person hot tub and sauna. Nestled amidst the forest yet conveniently close to sights and activities for all ages, this idyllic property offers comfort for 8 guests plus 2 children, with extra sleeping arrangements for 12 plus 2 children. Our newly built (2021) spa located in our old barn features an outdoor hot tub under the tall trees.

Perfect for family gatherings or friends seeking peace and relaxation, Skogsgården offers a variety of activities in Ängelholm for adults, children and teenagers, as well as winter sports at Vallåsen and summer activities such as hiking and cycling trails and lakes for swimming.

The forest farm is suitable for both winter and summer holidays, for birthdays, wedding anniversaries or just to get away and relax in nature in front of the fire.

The rooms in Skogsgården

The farmhouse dates back to the 17th century and despite being updated for modern comfort we have tried to preserve its attractive, traditional elements, such as low ceilings, wooden panelling, and numerous original features.

Downstairs:

The kitchen features ample seating for 10 (plus 2 baby seats), with the possibility of accommodating 12 adults with some rearrangement. It’s a great space for cooking and dining together.
The living room offers comfortable sofas and armchairs, a fireplace, and a TV with a Telia basic package.
There is also a double bedroom with an adjoining child’s room (beds measuring 170cm and 135cm)

Upstairs:

The second floor has two double bedrooms with separate single beds that can be converted to create two extra beds, accommodating 4 people in each room.
There is also a separate sleeping chamber with a double bed
A bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower,
A furnished hall with a sofa and armchair for reading or socializing.

The Spa Complex:
The spa complex includes a sauna for 8 people, spa bath that accommodates 7 adults, 2 showers, and a WC, as well as ample space for relaxing both indoors and on the terrace.

Guests have sole use of the farm, sharing it only with the abundant wildlife that regularly passes through.

Outdoor swimming facilities (beach) – Västersjön for lake, Skälderviken for sea bathing both with fine sandy beaches

For any booking of 4 days or more, we are offering a spring BBQ feast of marinated meats and vegetables for up to 8 people, prepared for you to cook over our hand made barbeque pits made in Dorset, England.
