Bryggargården in Råå

This 19th century brewery was the first house in the collection. It is a house for large relaxed groups of friends or family of all different ages gathering together but having enough space whenever they need ‘me’ time. It is set in the middle of picturesque Råå, only minutes from the sea with mile-long beaches. Furry friends are welcome to stay as well.

Bryggargården has four good sized bedrooms, a large light filled kitchen where you can easily seat 10 people around the table for long lazy lunches,  3 large living room areas where groups disperse for their own thing and a lovely hidden tiled courtyard for al fresco moments.  We have parking for 2-3 cars. The buildings have been added to a number of times over the centuries and have features throughout.  The house is well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing, stress-free holiday.

We love this area. We have spent all our holidays in Skåne with our children for over18 years so we have a lot of experience of the best Skåne can offer. There is so much around Bryggargården and it caters to different generations and interests. Here are some of the things we recommend. If you want more insight or just to chat about possible itineraries, we would be very happy to help.
  • Bryggargården is 3 min walk to the sea, 5 min to Råå harbour. There are great beaches with piers and Råå Kallbadhus for a cold dip and sauna if you dare! You can grab a robe and just wander down.
  • There are some amazing restaurants nearby just 2-5 minutes from Bryggargården. Really perfect to just walk out to and have a big friends and family meal or an intimate dinner if you have snuck away from the kids!

Bistro 46 is on the same street as Bryggargården
Kajgatan 1 is 3 minutes walk away with views over the sea
Trivas is on the same street at Bryggargården
Mammas kök is a Thai restaurant on the same street as Bryggargården

  • Boat and sailing–  it is 5 minutes walk to Råå harbour and Marina where boats can be rented but they have to be pre booked, or you can book a space on the fishing boats. Our kids took one week sailing lessons at the marina sailing school and really enjoyed it.
  • We are also 5 min walk to Skåneleden for those who want to hike both inland and out after the sea. –
  • There are 2 golf courses within 5 min by car or 2 mini golf courses 5-10 min walk along the sea.
  • For children, teenagers and all the rest of us there is a ‘Jumpyard’ 5 min away, or Sweden’s first military track 3 min by car or 10 min by bike.

Further afield…

  • We visit Ven every summer. Grab the ferry from Råå harbour or Landskrona and enjoy! You can hire a cycle and amble along on, mostly, car free roads. Visit the distillery or Tycho Brahe observatory and house. It is an amazing day and everyone has smiles when they return.
  • There are all the attractions within Helsingborg 10 min by car, for example, Fredriksdal and Sofiero, Tropertkariat and a Toy Museum and much more.
  • Lund is 30 minutes by car, worth a visit for those who like museums.
  • Kullaberg and Söderåsen are nature reserves for those who like nature and adventure, both about 30-40 minutes by car. We have one of our other properties, Södergården,  nearby if you want to swap beach for forest!
  • Helsingør in Denmark is only 40 min by bus and ferry across the strait. Helsingør offers restaurants, shopping and museums such as Kronborg and Maritine museums.
  • Copenhagen is about 1 hour by car or train.

In April and May  we are offering a charcuterie package – for min 2-day bookings, the hamper is filled with local delicacies, for up to 10 people to enjoy by the beach while watching the world go by. We also recommend a refreshing dip in the kallbadhus after a sauna overlooking the sea.
